So, I started a thing. I decided to do a TWO THINGS TUESDAY post last week and just sent it to my email list. {If you’re not on it…get it now so you don’t miss a darn thing…}
Anyway, I received a lot of positive feedback on last week’s two for Tuesday. You want to read things that you can relate to. I get it. There’s a lot of crap out there and this is a crazy world we’re living in right now. I’ve got you and I’ve decided two for Tuesday is going to be a blog thing right now. I’ll be here, sharing what I read/listen to/watch/think…etc. every week. It will be quick and relevant {hopefully} so keep me posted and let me know what you think!
We’re heading into September and school starts for us NEXT WEEK. My child is going to be in first grade and I’m not even sure what the heck happened to Kindergarten. It was the fastest year ever!
Summer is winding down and fall schedules are about to get rockin’ and rollin’. It feels like another sort of new year, doesn’t it? It’s time to get back to business in the next few weeks. But until then, enjoy a summer beverage, take a walk, eat dinner outside and hit the beach a few more times…after you read this email of course. 😉
Enjoy today’s TWO THINGS TUESDAY on seasons.
The way I look at it there are two types of seasons of life. The literal seasons {like fall} and figurative seasons {like stages of motherhood}.
1. Embrace the seasons of life. Yesterday, I posted about embracing the seasons of life, figurative and literal. It’s important. I talk to a lot of people. We all forget to put on our positive pants now and then, but don’t be one of those people who complains about the heat right now and then starts right up about the cold around October 15. K, thanks. 😉

2. I’m shooting for 80/20. This is a great reminder with school coming up. I use the 80/20 rule pretty often when it comes to nutrition. It’s a great long-term strategy. Since we’re gonna be mommin’ long term too, why can’t we use this strategy here too, right? My favorite line… “The 80/20 rule isn’t lazy or disinterested; it’s just real life.”
So let’s just shoot for 80/20 this season and call that a win, okay?Also, read anything you love lately? Let us know in the comments!
