I’m going to start something new on Friday’s and see if you guys like it!
On Friday’s I’m going to share a few things from the previous week.
- What I’m thankful for this week. It’s so important to be thankful every single day (even if you’re having a crappy day). I think it’s easy to get into the routine of complaining about things in your life or getting in the habit of praying only when things are not going well. I personally need to focus on thanking God for all of the blessings in my life whether it’s a good or bad week. Overall, I am a lucky duck and I never want to take that for granted! Hopefully you can all share what you’re thankful for in the comments as well.
- Some links to other great posts/articles that I’ve read over the week.
Let me know if you guys dig this…otherwise I’ll go back to regular posting on Friday or Saturday again!
What I’m thankful for today:
I’m super thankful for my family and friends! My mom and sister put together an amazing baby shower for me this past weekend. It was perfect and everything I could have asked for. It was awesome to see so many friends and family all at the same place (reminded me of my wedding and bridal shower). Baby Perry got some awesome gifts and he’s gonna be one blessed baby being surrounded by our fabulous family and friends.
Other Great Blog Posts and/or Articles from this past week:
- Healthy vs. Low Cal from A Healthy Slice of Life – Awesome read about how low calorie foods are not always more nutritious!
- Politically Correct Food from YourNutritionista– A quick review on some of the top foods that get a lot of attention. Why these foods do live up to the hype and where they still fall a bit short of being perfect.
- Because we are from My Pinky Toes – You are beautiful. Don’t forget that. Stop wasting time on badmouthing yourself.
- Weekday Lunch Date and Food Balance from FAITH, FITNESS, FUN – Make time for life’s little pleasures. Take time for a mid-week lunch date with your husband or a friend. I am inspired to do this now!
Looking back on this week, what are you thankful for?
Have a great weekend!
