Hope everyone had a great weekend and Easter, if you celebrate. Ours was nice. We visited our old church (we miss it there so much!) and went to brunch at Cracker Barrel like we have for the past few years. (Yes, we are that classy.) Later, we visited with some friends for a few hours and then headed home and went to bed nice and early at 8:30pm.
This little munchkin got his first Easter basket with a few small things in it. The Easter Bunny kept it simple this year with some bath toys and bibs.
Gram surprised him with a basket too which included a big blue bunny.
I wish we took a photo of the whole family, but things got a little crazy. CJ was perfect all through the church service, but was fighting a much-needed nap afterwards, until Grampy finally worked his magic at the restaurant.
Speaking of baskets…I saw FedEx in front of the house today. Since we just opened the gym (we were highlighted yesterday on the Chelmsford Patch as business owners of the week!), we have been ordering things non-stop so I figured it was something we ordered that I forgot about. Nope…it was a care package from Rite Aid. A whole bunch of baby must-haves!

I can’t believe I leave for RKC in 2 days and I’ll be away from this little man for almost 5 days. Man am I gonna miss him.
5 days away!! awww! That is going to be hard but I bet the time will just fly. Congrats on the Patch highlight!! So exciting. I’ll go read it 🙂 And that little guy is so freaking cuuuute!
Yup…I totally think it will fly by. Just hard to believe I have only been away from him one night at a time and now I’m jumping to 4. Eek!

I leave for the first time next month for 5 days as well and I’m soooo nervous, sad, excited and anxious all at the same time! You’ll have to let me know how it goes!
I know…it is totally adding to my stress. I know I’ll be busy and it will fly by, but I am gonna be dying to squeeze him on Monday! 🙂 I’ll definitely let you know.
