Yesterday’s track workout was awesome…we have been doing great workouts every weekend lately…although hubby really kind of showed me up this time, especially with the running portions. He is so stinkin fast.
Warm up:
Dynamic Movement Prep
Run 1/2 mile
Workout:
- 4 Turkish Get Ups (TGU’s) on each side (10kg Kettlebell)
- 1/4 mile run…
x2 (repeat)
- 50 swings (20kg Kettlebell)
- 1/4 mile run
- Snatches (16kg Kettlebell)…for the amount of time the other person was swinging…I did one set of 20 and one set of 16
- 1/4 mile run
x2 (repeat)
It was a total of 16 Turkish Get Ups, 1.5 miles (+1/2 mile warm up), 100 kettlebell swings, 36 kettlebell snatches! I was beat, but it was a good workout and hubby was feeling good so he was really pushing me on the runs. Today was a welcomed day off from working out.
