Connor’s First Halloween (…kind of)

I’ve been back at work for 2 months now. We have already lost power twice in that time, once due to a hurricane and this week due to a Nor’easter (yes, in October).

My little monkey was supposed to go to daycare yesterday. They were going to have a Halloween parade. Daycare was cancelled. We were looking forward to having him at home with us giving out candy to the kids in our neighborhood. Trick or Treat was cancelled until next Sunday.

Kind of a sad first Halloween for this guy, but at least it’s one we’ll remember, right?

Now, you tell me if he looks bothered by the whole no power situation? 🙂

Thank God for the best parents (and grandparents ever) for all of their help the last few days!
