Sorry I have been a bit MIA this past week. I’ve been a little grumpy this week (yes, I’m human), but fortunately we’re okay and no one is sick this time. Phew.
Okay…bear with me on this analogy. It might be a stretch, but I thought of it when I was dead tired due to lack of sleep and working out really hard this morning.
This last year has been a tough one as I mentioned in my anniversary post about a month ago. I promised this was going to be a good year…and it will be. 🙂
I feel like life gave me some lemons and I tried to make lemonade. Hubby and I had a plan (we all know how well plans usually work out). I feel like I had my ice cold lemonade all lined up to drink and someone came and knocked it over. It spilled on me and I am left feeling cold and sticky. I cried over my spilled lemonade yesterday (yes, I know it’s supposed to be spilled milk), but I’ve decided we just need a new plan. Maybe one with a little less sugar. (I found this image pretty funny.)
Keep your fingers crossed. I’m trying to do the best I can with what I’ve got for now. Hopefully they’ll be some good things and big changes happening soon. I’ll keep you all updated.
On a lighter note, when I am angry sometimes my workouts are even better! Plus I got to watch The Hills at 3am when I couldn’t sleep last night. I really don’t see that hour anymore so I kind of felt like a rebel! I will not be making a habit of seeing that time though… love my 10pm bedtime.

- Cable Rope Pullbacks
- Pushups
- Jumping Jacks
- Single Leg Romanian Dead Lifts
- Bent over Barbell Row
- Weighted Step ups
