The hubby was away most of the weekend and I purposely didn’t really make any big plans.
Friday evening I ventured out to Costco where I bought wine, burgers (for the hubby – I don’t eat red meat), contact solution, oatmeal and olive oil. Ever look at your cart when you go to Costco and think about the combination of weird things that you’re buying? 🙂
After my big excursion to Costco, I got a little bit of work done and made some creation with my leftovers from the night before. Then I hung out on the couch with a glass of wine until bed time.
Saturday I got a workout in and then spent the afternoon with one of my best friends. It was perfect. We went to Seedling Café, which is one of my favorite places. They use local and organic produce and products …everything is so fresh!
I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the upcoming week. I realized that this weekend was great because I did exactly what I wanted to do instead of what I felt like I should do or what others wanted me to do.
